Lobophyllia
Description – Distributed across all the tropical regions, Lobophyllia or sometimes referred to as open brain coral is one of the larger fleshy LPS corals. Our Lobophyllia collection is often sourced from the Great Barrier Reef, Kenya, or Mauritius. These corals are extremely popular with beginners to experts alike, often been one of the hardier LPS corals when acclimatised from overseas shipping. Lobophyllia come in either branched structures or brain-like encrusting structures. Furthermore, Lobophyllia are a very diverse species, thus meaning they come in all shapes and patterns which can make a collectors dream.
Lighting– Medium, generally no more than 120 PAR is ideal.
